SHIPPING

Everything here is made after you order it, so there are two clocks: the time it takes to make the thing, and the time it takes to reach you. Both are below.

BEFORE IT IS MADE
Your order is held for 8 business hours. In that window you can change it or cancel it by emailing oldman@manexplainseverything.com with your order number. After that it goes to production and cannot be changed.

Please check the delivery address while that window is open, and here is why it is worth the thirty seconds. Browsers fill addresses in for you, and a saved payment method carries its own address along with it. Both are enormously helpful right up until the afternoon they quietly enter the place you lived two years ago. It happens to careful people constantly and it is not a character flaw.

We post to the address on the order. If that address is wrong we cannot pull the parcel back once it has gone, and a replacement is at your cost. Thirty seconds now, or a shirt delivered to somebody you have never met.

MAKING IT
Printed items are made to order, typically within 2 to 5 business days. Busy periods and unusual sizes take longer. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships, and that email is the honest signal that it is on its way.

Original hand-drawn items are drawn by one person after you order them, so they take longer. If that is going to be more than a couple of weeks we will tell you.

SKETCH CARDS SHIP SEPARATELY, AND COST SEPARATELY
The sketch cards are not printed and they do not come from the same place as the shirts. They are drawn by hand and posted by the man who drew them.

So if you order a card and a shirt together, you are ordering two things from two places. You will get two parcels, on two different days, with two tracking numbers, and a second shipping charge is added at checkout.

That is not a mistake and it is not a surcharge. It is two parcels.

The total is shown at checkout before you pay, so you will always see it coming.

SHIPPING RATES

Rates are flat, per order, in US dollars, and are shown again at checkout before you pay. If checkout and this page ever disagree, checkout is correct.

WHERE IT SHIPS FROM
Printed garments are made at the production facility nearest to you, so a UK order is usually printed in the UK and an EU order in the EU. That is why the postage is cheap and why it is usually quick.

CUSTOMS, DUTY AND IMPORT TAX
Any customs duty, import tax or handling fee charged by your own country is yours to pay and is not included in the price or the postage. We have no control over it and no way to predict it. Most orders never attract one, because most orders are made in the same region they are delivered to.

THE ADDRESS YOU TYPE IS THE ADDRESS WE USE
Check it before you pay. If a parcel is returned to the maker because the address was wrong or incomplete, you will need to buy the postage again to have it resent. Once the 8 hours are up we cannot change it for you.

IF TRACKING SAYS DELIVERED AND IT IS NOT WITH YOU
Check with your neighbours, your building and your safe place first. Carriers frequently mark a parcel delivered a day before anybody can find it. If it is still missing after that, email us and we will sort it out.

IF IT IS GENUINELY LOST OR ARRIVES DAMAGED
We remake it, free, and you do not pay postage again. Email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photograph. Full detail is in the refund policy.
